DME Wedges

The DME Wedge is a matrix–wedge hybrid designed for deep sub-gingival proximal cavities and crown cementation. 

With an asymmetric shape and smooth contoured surface, it provides excellent anatomical adaptation, strong contacts, and a reliable seal.

For large fillings, it goes deep into the interproximal space to provide a curved, smooth surface without the need for a matrix band.

When cementing crowns, the DME Wedge helps prevent gingival seepage, displaces the interproximal gingival col, and blocks out the interproximal space to avoid excess cement.
